Product Description

However, this agribox is also a wealth of Apulian high quality food: it keeps the aroma and the authenticity of ancient grains and tomato flavor which challenges the time, and the quality of high quality extra virgin olive oil – which is the best in the world -.
The box contains:
- organic stoneground ancient whole grain wheat flour crostini – Saragolla Rosso del Molise variety, – 500 gr;
- organic Regina tomatoes – Slow Food Presidium – 1 kg. These tomatoes have been picked in June and are kept with grapes and hung in a dry and cool place. In such a way, they are stored throughout the winter till springy months. They are produced in Dune Costiere Park in Alto Salento and their slightly sour and brackish flavor is due to the fact that they are flushed with salt water;
- organic Coratina extra virgin Cold Pressed olive oil – 250 ml
- Wild oregano picked in Alta Murgia park – 10 gr.
Recommendations
Tomatoes must be stored in a dry and cool place and must not be clumped. Every now and then you have to check their storage state and remove those tomatoes which are flaccid at the touch of them (unfortunately, it can happen!). They must be washed just before using them.
Crostini are very crunchy but, as soon as you season them with tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil, they’ll become softer.
Enjoy your meal!:-)
